Open ASP and go to save a file. It should already be pointing to the directory where it last saved. If you save to your usual directory, it will remember that.

I must be missing something here. How is this different from using the Import Image Sequence script?

Looks like you could stand to move the pivot of the upper arms (shoulder) closer into the torso. That way they don't look so odd when rotated that far. You might not even need to change where the arms are. The bone doesn't always need to be in the center of the shape.

Nice work, very accomplished looking, and I totally agree about Fazek's (and others) tools. I couldn't live without them.

Here's a quick idea to remedy the thinness of the cutouts. And yeah, pose to pose would probably fit that style very well.

I like that idea. But when I saw the screen shot I imagined the cardboard cutouts being fully animated themselves.

Much better with the hair. That blue bit is a hard to guess at without seeing the vector construction. Try recreating the shape or perhaps just change the shape order.

Check out layer binding in tutorial 3.1. If you use switch layers within a bone layer, you have to bind them to specific bones.

Yeah, probably best to follow Mike's advice. I don't really use any conventional rigging, so my personal work flow would be hard to follow.

Nested switch layers, much like the opening example. You'd have:

Emotion switch
>happy switch
>angry switch

If you have cycling keys for blinking in each, then you'd only need to switch between which of these emotion switch layers is showing.

There is no right or wrong. If it accomplishes what you need then it is right.

To do a scrolling background, it's easiest to make one long background that the beginning and end match up. Then you can pan across (or translate the layer) once, use a step keyframe to return it to its starting position, and cycle the keyframes as long as you need. As long as you use a step keyfram...
