Hey Mikdog, off-topic, but are you the one behind the Frito Lay "Made for each other" campaign?

I could swear this looks just like your style.

Another test. Kind of interesting. The whole cardboard cut-out vibe:

Ah. Nice, I might try that. Thanks. Might not fully animate the character but maybe just do pose to pose. Setting this kind of thing up in AS is kind of fiddly, but not impossible. Also figuring out whether to include crazy camera moves that show just how papery thin the layers are or to keep it fixed at the current position. Can obviously build up quite complex scenes, I've drawn a whole bunch of stuff which I'll add in. Still need to come up with a full-on story for this project, its another music video by the way.
Also, whether to keep it to just this one plane, or to have the character turn 90 degrees and plot an interesting more 3D course for him. At the moment its like a side-scroller 2D game with some 3D elements, but I COULD have far more complex 3D-ish things happening, which could be quite cool.

Here's a quick idea to remedy the thinness of the cutouts. And yeah, pose to pose would probably fit that style very well.
