Oh for an easily searchable Help file
It must be my age - but I long for the type of Help file which allows you to search for a keyword or phrase and then see a dropdown list of all associated references and/or topics. At least in Creatoon, although the Help file is pdf, it can be searched by using 'Find'. In AS, you only seem to be able to find a word if its on that page and if you know which page its on, why would you need to search for it?
Hi Mohlar,
see here for one solution (Windows only, I think).
Bupaje used a trial version of an e-book maker to put the .html help into e-book form, and the e-book reader has a search function.
The posted result is a little out-of-date now (Moho version 5.0 ?), but the process should still be valid.
Regards, Myles.

Hi, seeing the link from myles it seems allowed to post the docs so here it is.
AnimeStudio.chm
I don't know how long I will keep this domain, but I will make sure the file is not lost. Of course e-frontier is free to add this file to their install (if they want )
I created this chm with the FAR tool for whom wants to know, pretty easy, I simply had to strip the script tags.
Best regards
Philipp

Having one for Mac or Linux would be nice, too.
I'm having a hard time finding out what one of the widgets on Anime Studio Pro's screen is for, but it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the Help, and looking something up is really difficult in this Help.

me think that chm files can easily be read on both Linux and Mac, don't know the names of the viewer-apps though.
quick google search...
for Mac: http://chmox.sourceforge.net/
for Linux: http://www.kchmviewer.net/features.html
there may be more, google is your friend

well, easy in creating the chm, and easily viewable on windows (it's an windows format you know ) so unless Linux and Macs don't natively support chm you will have to install a viewer. Same as PDF you know, but there everybody has to install a viewer. But I'm not forcing you you know, it's meant to be for Mohlar and everybody else who wants a searchable help.
Oh sorry, my deposit domain got deleted, will reupload it asap.Ovjeh wrote:Can someone repost the file?
