How to animate colour etc. of layers in a switch layer?

Hello,

I'm dealing with a seemingly simple problem in MOHO 5.4. Say, there are two vector layers, each containg a different form with the same amount of points. Both are nested in a switch layer with "interpolate sub-layers" checked.

Now, the switch layer just interpolates the movement of points but not other attributes such as change of curvature, colour etc. I tried to keyframe the sub-layers but did not succeed.

How can this be achieved?
