Animated Swizzer Bumper

Post by spoooze! »

Did this bumper for a website called Swizzer (a local website for college students):

I think it turned out pretty nice. Most of it was made using bones. The eyes and mouth shapes were created using point manipulation.

I'm going to create a blog post soon chronicling the making of this little bumper. There's actually more to it then you'd think.

I also included the storyboards which I stick pretty close to. The rig I built is fairly simple to use but you can do a lot with it which is why I'm eager to try out more stuff. My aim is to give my work a more three dimensional "feel" while still maintaining a 2D "look".

Haha, that scream was gold at the end :-D

I like it, nice gestures for the face, brings out the character well.
