Image Transparency editor

Post by Nephilim »

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is an image editing program, preferably free, that allows you to edit or add an alpha channel for transparency for a gif image? I've tried irfanview, but it only allows you to set a global transparency value and even that does not work correctly.

Thanks.

gif only supports one color for transparency. not apha. if you want better quality transparency, use png instead gif.

[Selgin, if you didn't know, the Nephilim were the giant offspring from angels and human women described in Christian and Hebrew mythology.]

However I think this character name is tied more to:

TRAOD=Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness... Nephilim

Ah, I wasn't familiar with any of the later Tomb Raider games, and didn't know what Selgin's "traod" meant. They put nephilim in a Tomb Raider game?

Achem...

I heard from friend that Nephilim meant angel and in that way I named myself nephilim. (I have no idea what Tomb Raider games are  )
