Separate dimensions and freeze keys

Okay, so I separate the dimensions for X and Y on target bones and core bone. But when trying to freeze a single frame, everything EXCEPT the separate dimension keys get set. Is this a bug? A feature? Am I missing something? As both X and Y dimensions show on the main timeline but refuse to auto freeze, I feel like either I’m doing something unusual in separating the dimensions and no one else has noticed, or else I’m missing a secret setting, or else there is actually a bug. Help?

This is a known issue. If you are only dealing with only a few wanted keyframes, you can: double-click -or- right-click > [Add Keyframe] on the the relevant channel in the timeline with the separated dims to add keyframes (individually).

Precisely what I am doing. Glad it's a known issue, I seriously thought I was just missing something that I really should have known.

My Add Keyframe script works with separated dimensions. https://mohoscripts.com/script/sz_add_keyframe
