Hi,
I'm new to animation and Anime Studio, didn't initially realize that another video editing app might commonly be used with the Anime Studio output.
However, I'm thinking about combining some live footage with the animations so this might not be a bad idea.

I'm interestred in keeping costs down and staying on the PC.

1.
What video editing apps do you recommend on the PC, particularly for Anime Studio content?

2. Has anyone had success with Sony Vegas Studio entry level?

Windows Movie Maker is very simple to use and sometimes comes free with XP.

/I think this question belongs under a different thread heading.

I use Vegas a regularly.
Not every ones cup of tea, but I like it a lot.
Very flexible and easy to use, good for basic compositing, but not for really advanced stuff, that a specialised area.
Sound is really good.
You can definitely to professional quality editing on it if you know what to do.
It should serve your purposes well.

Thank chucky,
What do you mean by "really advanced"? I'm such a newbie that it probably would be beyond what I'd want to do, but I'm curious.
