Walk test with woodcuts

Here's another one, just as a proof of concept.

Notice that the tower itself isn't a genuine wood engraving but a filtered photo with just a bit drawing from me. I still prefer original woodcuts.
The black light idea is a pretty old one from my sketchbooks, this is the first time I can use it. It's done with 3 images: BG, tower, and tower plus BG inverted. The light is a mask in 2 parts, a circle and a rectangle, the latter one point animated. The tower shifts levels. I need to redo this very exactly to make a convincing effect, but this intermediate result is already pretty cool.

Of course the sea has to be animated as well. This is a first test, I'm not sure how much variation I need to add to the movement - right now it's one movement multiplicated and shifted in position. The waves need to be darker on the bottom and lighter on the top, and coloured.
