Keyframe Transfer?

Post by zyrolasting »

More specifically, I'm working on a walking animation consisting of two bone layers for each leg. I'm about 3 quarters done, and I realized I just went back and manually put ALL settings from one layer to another.

Once I finished that, I knew I made that more complicated than it needed to be.

My first realization was that I did not make any actions. Given I'm deep into the animation, is it safe for me to set these for calling in the timeline?

I REALLY do not want to go back and redo that, even if it would be faster.
Unless of course, I had any way at all to transfer keyframes between layers, or between timelines. Copy/paste limits in there get annoying...

Unfortunately there's no way to copy&paste anything from layer to another layer, or from one timeline to another.

It is, however, possible to duplicate a layer and its timeline after animation is done. I use that from time to time, but didn't find it useful in creating walks or alike.
