Not a real painting like Vern's, but what we have in common are the years since attempting any kind of natural media.
I've been playing with cardboard, markers, & white-out for the past few weeks. This weekend I added some digital painting.
As I said, not real painting, just........baby steps.
C&C welcome.

I love that style. It's a style I always wished I could do. I am too much a realist and have trouble achieving that kind of free... wild... and "spontaneous" type of art work. I can see it in my head but I have trouble getting it onto the paper or screen.
I agonize over details and realism too much and it gets in the way of doing something "loose" and "free". I am too tightly wound I suppose.
I think that is why I adapted to the computer so quickly. I could draw a vector shape and it was PERFECT. No more airbrush masks and spilled paint.

They were an 80's typical hair metal, sort of punk band. I think. I had a cassette once - got chewed up and i lost my childhood memories, and the long hair. Now i like MUSIC!
