I hope it's not too late for feature requests but here's one that i've always wanted but have not had the time to post. It should'nt be too hard to implement and would make it a lot easier to discern sub layers for groups when scrolling.

Yes, I think this simple feature would be extremely convenient when dealing with multiple characters in a scene. After yopu scroll below the top of each layer group, the tree tends to blend together and can get quite confusing.

there might be a way to script this but i dont know scripting
