i modeled an 3d object using Rhino and exported it as object, but when i try to import it to moho for animation, i cant see it apear. there apears only the 3d layer, i dont know but it seems an empty 3d layer.
how can i solve this prob, does moho realy import 3d obj?
I need help on this, as i work with 3d and i want to explore this feature of moho.

Well, I am not familiar with the .obj export of Rhino.
Moho needs to read 3D the .obj- , .mtl- and the texture-file.
If Rhino does not create the .obj and .mtl , it wont work.
I am using Cinema 4D – (creates only .obj no .mtl) –
so I am using the plugin “Riptide” (only C4D I presume)
to create the .obj- and .mtl-file from my objects.
I still have to drag the texture-files manually into the folder
where the .obj and .mtl resides, but than Moho imports
the .obj-file beautifully with all textures intact.
Cheers

Mmmm... I've succesfully imported lots of untexturized *.obj files into Moho without any *.mtl file asociated to them, so maybe the problem could be other... are you sure (i.e.) that your 3D object is not there, but his size is SO huge that you think it's not there? For be sure you can select your 3D layer and go to the menu entry Scripts --> 3D --> Auto-Scale to see what happend... ...But what a SURPRISE! And well, now I'm living near "La Sagrada Familia" of Barcelona which animation could be even more interesting than the "Santa Barbara Castle"! (...BTW, precisely I was thinking about how incredible would be an animation of "La Sagrada" the other day, yes )Nolan Scott wrote:But if you would like to show us your “Santa Bárbara Castle” in 3D in Moho with real textures,
you might need the .mtl-file.
