Strongman - Circus Series #1
Hey guys, I'm diving back into Moho, THIS TIME WITH A VENGENCE!!! Seriously though, I hadn't really touched it since my last attempt (Walking Dead cartoon) about a year ago, and it was always in the back of my mind. Anyway, this is my first attempt at a 'proper' animation in Moho. More to come.

Make him a little less strong and he could also work as Freddie Mercury.

This is great. I really appreciate it when someone is able to do this kind of animation (fluid, dynamic, emotional) with this kind of design (abstract, reduced).
How did you do the motion blur/smear? I reckon these were distinct shapes with gradients?

Oh man, you are totally right! Hmm...might be a fun future project.synthsin75 wrote:Make him a little less strong and he could also work as Freddie Mercury.
Yep, you nailed it! I did them in After effects, mostly because they were a bit of an afterthought. Definitely add a little "something" though.slowtiger wrote:How did you do the motion blur/smear? I reckon these were distinct shapes with gradients?
Thanks for all the thoughts guys! I'm gonna keep pushing ahead with the other circus characters I've designed and see what I can crank out before I get wrapped up in other work.

Please keep us posted. it's refreshing to see a talent develop. Your work reminds me of another talented animator who started on this forum.
