Re: New Moho training
I started learning and using Moho 8 or 9 years ago and I have yet to see a paid course that I would say is worth more than what you can learn for free from the manual, this forum, and the sponsored (or independent) tutorials on YouTube. Save your money for that eventual Moho 13 upgrade.

Get........ Out!
Nobody. And I mean Noooooo Body can over-complicate the simple solutions like I can.
I've been spending more time in CSP the last couple of weeks but I still don't think I've scratched the surface of what it can do.

Re: Original Animation Cels
The 1976 Misterjaw cel and drawing is here. I'm not sure which episode but it'll be fun re-watching them to figure it out.

Re: best options for exporting animation
The best looking exports I've gotten from Moho have been PNG image sequences. But of course then you will need a get a separate video editing software that you use to edit all of your video and audio clips together. That way you can focus on Moho as a tool to create short clips/scenes instead of mak...

Re: Not responding when I draw with "Freehand"
And why don't you draw the lines in Clipstudio? I tried it a couple of times but when I imported a Moho character on top of the CSP drawing and I couldn't get them to look right together. (Honestly it's probably just an OCD thing in my head) Clip Studio does have a way to adjust line weight afterwa...

Re: Not responding when I draw with "Freehand"
Uhm, that background is great, but IMHO Moho is absolutely the wrong program for that kind of work. This calls for a decent pixel-based software like TVPaint, Photoshop, or the like. I just drew the lines in Moho so I could change the style and line width later if I need to. Then I export a PNG of ...

Re: Not responding when I draw with "Freehand"
Thanks, I wish I could take credit for it. I'm trying to learn how DePatie Freleng made their backgrounds by redrawing and repainting a bunch of them. I figure it's like, if you want to learn to play drums like John Bonham you have to play along with all those Led Zeppelin songs. So far I've learned...

Re: Not responding when I draw with "Freehand"
It can also be from having too many points on one layer. I run into this a lot since I started using the freehand tool. I used to draw everything with a mouse, so it was more precise (or boring and stiff) and the number of points was minimal. But drawing with the freehand tool multiplies the points ...

Re: Original Animation Cels
I might dig some out tomorrow scan and post for your amusement. You know we would love to see them. And I can totally relate about the girlfriend thing. Instead of buying a new set of silver sparkle Ludwig drums in 1998, my ex-wife thought it would be more fun if we paid off her student loan... Wom...

Re: Youtube settings
You mentioned in your other post that you were using the Debut version. Maximum frame size for you would be 900 x 900
If you want to work in the smaller version of HDTV 1280 x 720, it looks like you should try 900 Wide and 506 Height.

Re: Original Animation Cels
My all-time favorite cartoons are the DePatie Freleng cartoons. Especially those early Pink Panthers. The reboot that happened in the early 90's is one of the biggest travesties in cartoon history. They actually had the Panther talking The cel I bought came from this cartoon @7:35. Mine didn't come ...

Re: Original Animation Cels
I found some in German. This is great. To me it looks and sounds so strange but on the other hand it works well
This is the version I grew up with Slowtiger. John Byner said he used a Dean Martin voice for Ant and Jackie Mason for Aardvark

Re: Original Animation Cels
That is new trivia for me. The original voice is John Byner doing a Jackie Mason impression. I just found an article that talks about the gender swap for the German version. No luck finding any of the cartoons yet though.slowtiger wrote: Aardvaark had a very distinct german voice (female) and still has fans.

Original Animation Cels
This year I blew some tax return money on a few original animation cels. This one is from "All for Pink and Pink for All", a 1993 episode of Pink Panther with a guest appearance of Ant & Aardvark. I've never seen a hand painted cel before. This thing is really cool. https://i.imgur.com...

Re: Any rumblings of a date for Moho 13 yet?
How would users in the forum feel about a subscription model in Moho's future. I despise subscription software and I would absolutely not buy in. I've made some money in animation but I consider myself in the "hobbyist" camp. My regular day job often causes long stretches of time when Moh...
