Re: "Switch Bones" technique (a very useful one...)

Hey synth, but this is assuming all bone swaps have the same bone structure so they can be controlled by a core 'controller' bone, in which case you may as well just swap the artwork with a switch? - what if you wanted to swap a 3 bone body with a 1 bone body?

Re: How do you Manage your colors?

You can also create custom images to use in/as colour picker - so you could create an armour detail image, with the colours you need - it doesn't need to look like a grid of swatches, then in the drop down above the swatches you can load the image in 'custom image...'. You can also put images into y...

Re: Rigging and smart bone question

The upper arm should be a smart bone that fixes the arm pit when raised. The lower arm should be a smart bone that fixes the elbow joint, and perhaps effects the muscles of the upper arm when bent. The hand bone should be a smart bone that fixes the wrist when turned ... etc :) To cover both directi...

Re: Confusing Stroke Exposure behavior

similarly to all other lanes on the time line (like points) you have the black track which shows where ANY point movement is keyed, but the red line only shows where the selected points are keyed. The stroke exposure keys are the same, the red line only shows keys for the currently selected stroke. ...

Re: Smart dial not completing action

are you sure the bone rotation is at the end of the animation timeline (inside the action?) - you will only get some of the animation if the rotation ends early.
