Re: Is it bad practice to scale layers at frame 0?
Yeah, I ran into that situation a few years ago and know exactly what you mean. I chalked it up to experiences and, now I just try to avoid getting into that predicament again. Sorry, I know that's not particularly helpful for your current situation, but I hope you get it solved. If I think of anyth...

Re: Vehicle physics tutorial
Hi Seliverstoff,
Wow! I've done similar physics setups in a 3D program I use, but it never occurred to me that this could be done in Moho too. Now I need to think about how I can use this technique on my next Moho project.
Thanks for sharing this tutorial!

Sigh! I totally identify with the character.
Anyway, I really liked this short. It had kind of a 'Peanuts Special' feel to it. Thanks for sharing it.

Re: Moho won’t work properly on Big Sur.
You'll need to use one of the Export As Previous Version commands to use Moho 13 files in a previous version. (Look under the File menu.)
I did this with the character rigs I created in Moho 13 during beta testing to use in Moho 12.5. Moving the projects backwards was mostly painless.

Re: Major Software Loading Issue
Using the 'final' installer for your version Moho means if SM decides to shut down the license server, you can continue to run that version on your computer indefinitely. Not the most comforting thought for Moho's future but at least it means things won't end abruptly. Hopefully, SM (or a new owner)...

Re: Interpolation for limb move cents?
I typically just leave it set on Smooth. The effect of Smooth can be like 'easing' but it's really not the same thing. From what I've observed, Smooth is looking at how the curves move in and out of a keyframe and it will try to 'smooth' the motion without a noticeable change in speed while the char...

Re: DKW Root's Translate Points mod, yeah, that's a great tool! It definitely saves me a lot of time when I need it. I wish it was easier to disable the modified anchor point behavior when I don't want that though because sometimes I prefer the original behavior. To work around this, I will disable ...

Re: Is it bad practice to scale layers at frame 0?
I see. It was already designed but I constantly change my mind about my drawings. It was going to be a multicharacter complex rig so I am going to try to not scale the layers. I will try to find out if maybe I can use some of the two bake bones scripts to simplify the process. A few more tips... Wh...

Something else to try: Select License Manager under Help. This will launch your browser and send you to the License Manager page. If you have your login info handy, sign in on this page. After I sign in and select Licenses>List Product Licenses, I get the serial numbers for all the copies/versions o...

Nah, providing a compatible link to this forum is really all you can do to make sure the embedded video appears. The backup plan is to include a clickable/readable link. Unfortunately, it's on the user to view the page with the compatible link. That can happen when the user bookmarks a link to this ...

Clever Victor!
Re: muted channels, if you're using 12.5, there is a Render Muted Channels option in the Render Settings window which forces the renderer ignore Mute settings. I have this enabled as my default.

Re: Grabbing Bezier Handles
In general, I avoid using Bezier mode for points. IMO, Bezier points are not especially useful for animation because they don't interpolate predictably when deformed by bones. Tip: I hide the handles using the Show Handles buttun so I don't accidentally create an unwanted Beizer point. FYI, there is...
