Masking , transparency, these can impact a great deal even though they are approximated in the preview. Onionskins, turn them off to check your synching, the preview can virtually stop with many onions. I try to stay away from masking anyway, you end up with heaps of layers no swf render and I have ...

Anime for illustration

Who needs PS or illustrator? Anime gets the job done just fine. With a little streamlining I wouldn't need the other two. I'll still have to keep painter though, for the squishy stuff  This is just a quick illustration of a desk lamp.

Use Celtx , it is very cool especially for collaboration. Too many people expect artists and animators to work for nothing, they even will pretend they have a budget and extract as much as possible before the hapless creative fool has to move on to another commercial minefield. Meanwhile these artis...

Thanx everyone, I'd love to do more with him, I don't know the best place to publish it really, if I went all out on it. I liked Ernest by the way thanks for sharing that Slowtiger, it's quite old now I bet, seems to be getting a little "long in the tooth". Mwaa mwaa, mwaahhaaaahaaaaa. Isn...

="DarthFurby"]Hey DK, actions are basically a place to store keyframes so you can copy/paste them to a timeline. As long as you put all your layers under one master group/bone folder, and only create actions on that master group/bone folder, you can paste keyframes to any and all sublayer...

PLUMBING THE DEPTHS

Remember the game asteroids? Bubble climbs up the ladder to mysterious light in the sky and comes out of the crater, Squeek decides that if the ladder is gone he could leave the asteroid via the crater - downwards- thus the endless loop. Maybe grunts and chirps don't get this idea across, my visual ...

Hmmm strange , it all works fine here and on the laptop, I've checked the source code and the .mov is definitely coming from the right place.
Anyone else got problems? If it's a codec issue then I'll make it as a .swf.
OK now its a flash movie, should work for anybody.

just a bit of guff

Well another piece of half polished nonsense,it's a little animatic for an idea for a series. Two idiot aliens , marooned on a little asteroid. I have a whole series of stories of them trying to escape or just suffering the experience, I am thinking of doing some episodes up using anime instead of 3...

spaghetti robotango

thanx Jahnocli, in response to the 'is it a woman' question, it's like Magritte said "Ceci n’est pas une pipe". Anyway you are definitely on to some of the obscure subtext for sure, I have actually changed the ending which had the two robots in a self destructive jaw lock. As for doing any...

It's too easy, call him Abe  That way it's not so formal, anyway what's the problem? I'm sure the old testament has quite a few less than perfect characters running around in it , and , hell, no one claims that is antisemitic, indeed it wouldn't be a decent story without at least a couple of j...

A tablet that ( somehow ?) provides better traction for the pen. Yes that's right they're slippery little critters, but this could be easily fixed by the addition of a felty tip that wacom do, this would also stop abrasions to the surface, minor but noticeable. might be possible to get one somewher...
