Re: A properly working "lock bone" tool
I have to agree. I've never managed to successfully lock a bone and have it not move. For walking characters I always seem to have to go back and key every single frame to stop unwanted foot movement. I would love for this to be the number 1 priority for AS10 Actually. An all over bone update would ...

Thanks for clarifying and pass on my compliments to the team.

Selgin
beautiful designs and excellent rigging.
I like the monkeys arm going behind the body and the body line re-appearing.
I just love the transparent elephant with the water level
The spring bone and the hat are a fantastic way of using smart bones.
Thanks for sharing and inspiring!

Re: Anime Studio 9 Available Now!
Good to hear. Papagayo is a very handy bit of software. That sort of functionality would actually be really useful inside of Anime Studio.

Re: Kurmi (smart bone rig)
Selgins projects are pretty gorgeous aren't they! This new update has given as pro a real shot in the arm and makes it start to live up to it's name. Smart bones and Bezier interpolation alone will make my work life much more pleasant. Pretty inspiring all round and makes toonboom harmony a little m...

Re: Anime Studio 9 Available Now!
AS9 is frankly the best upgrade yet with real worl useful features. Well done Mike and the team. It bodes very well indeed for the future. QT and 64 bit. I usually export png sequences and put them together in a video editor. Top quality, lossless and a reasonable file size though maybe not quite as...

Re: how do I set the defaults (for new shapes) so it has no
Shame. It will do for my current project as I am not drawing any lines. I must remember to change it back in the future though.
If only the line checkbox could be turned off for the default shape in the styles pallet. That would be how one would expect it to work.

Ahhhhh.
It took a restart to make it stick but that is exactly what I was looking for.
Many thanks Ken.

Shape settings.
I would like to be able to set the default shape in the Style tab to none so I can work with fills only.
Having to delete the stroke every time I create a shape is VERY tedious.

Thanks Selgin I'll try to find that. If any one knows the name of that script please let me know.
Ken. Nope I can't do that in AS pro 8 or 9. If I type in 0 for the line width it changes to .25

AS pro 9 64bit tracing image error
I noticed that if I zoom in far enough with the tracing image on it moves out of position.
Anyone else get this?

how do I set the defaults (for new shapes) so it has no line
The title says it all. I have a project where I have to trace an illustration with thick and thin shapes so I only want the fill and not line when I create these shapes. I can not seem to turn off the stroke setting in the style tab or set it to zero. I have a lot of tracing to do and having to turn...
