Nice one Selgin. Many thanks for providing the As file. I look forward to seeing how you did it.

Re: Quick time movies
You are probably using the 64bit version of anime studio which Qt doesn't work with.
Try using the 32 bit version.
Try using the 32 bit version.

AVi import into ASpro 64bit.
As of version 9.1 I can now see pictures -hurray!....but
NO Audio.
I am using the Cineform codec and rendering out reference video out of after effects cs6. with the audio output set to 48.000khz 16bit stereo uncompressed.
Needless to say the 32bit version of ASpro works perfectly.
Sigh.

Re: Import multiple layers from Illustrator?
My current project features a lot of illustrator files exported from Xara designer pro. As far as I can see there is no way at all of importing multi layered illustrator files. It is a pain having to split out the individual layers especially if you need to get them to register in the final project....

Re: Best AVI RGBA for x64?
In this particular case I just downloaded the gopro software but most codecs come with some sort of installer. Once installed into the operating system any software that can use them should see the codecs.

Re: HELP with rendering needed!
MPEG-4 files are a compressed format so you will lose some visual quality. I use Vegas for my editing. My work flow is to render out from AS as a png sequence. Simply import the first frame of the image sequence and tick the box 'Open still image sequence' and Vegas does the rest. That is pretty muc...

Re: Best AVI RGBA for x64?
I finally installed the Cineform/gopro codec for use in ASpro 64. Just for rendering tests so far as I got fed up with the basic ones. They either didn't work at all or messed up any gradient backgrounds. (to be fair I didn't try 'uncompressed' due to previous experience of stupidly large file sizes...

Re: Smart Bones vs Blend Morphs
Thinking in the future, I think for Blend Morph it would be cool if it would have its own channel, so we wouldn't have to go to every layer and channel to edit or erase the animation. For Smart Bones, it would be great if it could control any animated channel. For me, both features can be very simi...

Re: Best AVI RGBA for x64?
Very much agreed. Some sort of lossless codec that actually worked would be a start. The animation standard was QT animation at 100% quality. Everyone seemed to be able to open that. With the avi bugs in ASpro 64 (reported) I have to use the 32 bit version for anything that has imported video. For e...

I've used switch layers to switch between multiple character views, each with their own skeletons. As with all these tools they all have their uses given the right occasion. Never say never

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
How about when you click on Gradient in the styles menu, the color you have selected is automatically one of the colors/handles in the gradient instead of the default black and white. I used a lot of gradients in the past and they are VERY tedious to work with. So thumbs up for your suggestion. I w...

Re: Quick Preview F5 not working
One would have assumed an avi preview rather than not working at all in the 64bit version...Actually that may well be the case as there is an avi bug logged.
