Thanks. As you can see all those characters are in a default pose cause I never got past the modeling and texturing stage with any of them because its such a PITA in 3D. Thats the reason I began my search for a 2D animation program. I was going to use Flash, but then I found Moho and I haven't looke...

I've been using Lightwave since version 4.0 on the Amiga. Currently using Lightwave [8]. I basically gave up on doing 3D animation because of all the things you mentioned. It takes so much time just to do all the technical boring stuff that I got tired of it. I'm an artist and like the artistic aspe...

OK, I'm using the 960x540 resolution for my NTSC Widescreen DVD output. I import it into After Effects and to get it to fit I have to scale it down to 90%. I thought when I imported it After Effects would rescale the media to fit in the 720x480 widescreen project. Who here has taken a square pixel p...

I have to agree here. I've been amazed at how simple Moho is to use and get results quickly. Of course the more time you spend the better the results will be. To think I almost used Flash to animate my story!!!!! Whew.

Of course, you could do the whole thing at 1024 x 576, but unless you have a super fast computer, it will get sluggish at that resolution while you are animating. Being vector software, Moho itself is more or less resolution independent, but working at too high a resolution will slow down your disp...

You need to upload it to a web server so we can download. There are free places to upload files but I'm not sure where they are since I have my own website to upload files to.

I can't help advise on what frame rate to use for the USA as I am only used to European TV, but there is a very simple answer when it comes to resolution for widescreen in Moho: use any resolution you want that is 16 x 9! So you could work at, say, 800 by 450 pixels or any other combination you wan...

NTSC is 720x486 or PAL at 720x57 But you forgot about the square (what Moho is capable of) vs rectangular (what DV uses). Actually, consumer grade NTSC DV uses 720x480 rectangular pixels. However, if you want to render full res with Moho (or any program that doesn't support rectangular pixels) you ...

Post your tutorial .moho file so we can see if your file works on our computers. Maybe we can try from where you are and see if you have something setup wrong.

This is more of a codac/encoder thing isn't it? but it would be nice to have feature saying wherever to use square or rectangal pixals. I'm not talking about the codecs and all that. Simply the size of the project. Like regular NTSC is 720x486 or PAL at 720x576. HDTV is 1024x720 (and square pixels ...

TV/HDTV/DVD Resolution Presets in Project Settings Window

I think it would be a great idea to add some resolution presets into the project settings window. Have the most used resolutions for TV, DVD and HDTV as options. Also make sure you have the presets for both PAL and NTSC as there are a wide variety of countries represented in the Moho family. I see m...

Im from Europe therefore I was thinking PAL resolution setting which is 720 x 576 but NTSC is 720 x 540?? or 720 x 480?? PAL is 720 x 576 and NTSC is 720x486 (NTSC D1) or 720x480 (NTSC DV/DVD). I just don't know what resolution to do my animation at because computer monitors use square pixels vs. a...

Barry, I was wondering if you have a character that is rigged similar to the cat character that I could take a look at (maybe an original .moho file)? I have a couple characters I'm creating for an animation and I would like to see how a quality bone rig is setup in Moho. I'm interested specifically...

Not everyone has $250 for a lip-sync program.

Looking good. I would add a little bob to the head so it doesn't look so stiff. Maybe even add a little sway to the shoulders. Little things like that make a big difference in how natural the walking looks.
