Re: Help, bind artwork won't deform

Here's the thread with Victor's video (it's apparently not on his youtube channel.) It's video is actually more about creating a 'noodle' arm rig but the elbow bone technique is in there. http://lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20410&p=116411&hilit=arm#p116411 He's using an olde...

Re: Help, bind artwork won't deform

2. Use point binding. Bind the shoulder points to the upper arm bone, the wrist points to the lower arm bone. Then add a third elbow bone and add a constraint that rotates it half the distance of the lower arm bone. Bind the middle points to the elbow bone. This keeps the 'elbow' points aligned wit...

Any updates on the new release? Are BETA testers sworn to secrecy?

Re: Applying Bones After Smart Bone

I have another problem, when I complete the smart bone to the left, how do I do the right smart bone ? Are you asking how do you recreate the action for the other side? Or how do you set up the bone to function that way? If it's the setup, there's a tick box when you create the dial to separate the...

Re: Stroke popping

I tried disabling the noise settings, but that had no effect. by that do you mean "minimise frame-to-frame randomness". I do have the "minimize frame-to-frame randomness" ticked, but I was referring to the noisy outlines/noisy fills/animated noise options in the vector tab of th...

Is there somewhere that you all share your work? I'm new to all this and would love to post some animations to share my progress. If you go back out to the Moho Discussion, you should see that there's a "Share your work" section! Link: https://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=8

The layer itself is controlled by a bone. Would this adjust the points?

Stroke popping

Hello! As you can see in the GIF below, certain stroke segments are sort of popping in and out as this shape sways back and forth. Would anyone happen to have any suggestions on how to fix this? I tried disabling the noise settings, but that had no effect. Thanks in advance! https://static.wixstatic...

Re: Hello all. New user/forum member here.

Welcome! I've been using the program for a little less than a year. I've watched a lot of different YouTube tutorials, but I think the most helpful tutorial I took was McCoy's rigging course on Udemy. Check it out if you haven't already! https://www.udemy.com/complete-rigging-course-moho-anime-studi...

Re: the curse of the mummy

Re festivals and distribution: It might be wise to keep the video off YouTube, Vimeo etc. until it has had its festival run. Marc Thanks! I've been using Film Freeway to submit and have just been avoiding any festivals with rules regarding projects already being on YouTube and Vimeo. And unfortunat...

Re: the curse of the mummy

2? Two? Only two festivals?? Please! This film has the chance of getting highly popular, I can already hear the laughter of the audience at Berlin's Interfilm Festival! I just copied something I wrote to the TVPaint forum over to here: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=32379 ,...

Re: the curse of the mummy

This is damn near perfection. I like everything, the style, the voices ( very good choice), the voice acting, the restricted colours, the dialogue, the stupid gags, the whole idea. Please promise you send this to as many festivals as possible. Promise? I only have some minor quibbles, really just f...

the curse of the mummy

so, this is my first time using moho! overall, I found the process to be a bit bulky and I'm not sure if I'll continue using the program. I really do like the rigging tools and brushes, and even got to throw in some physics, but it seemed like even with really basic scenes the program would bog down...
