Myspace
Hi. Sneaking a minute from work to drop this suggestion for Mike and Fahim. AWN recently posted an article talking about the success of independent animators and companies boosting their visibility through viral marketing on myspace, youtube and similar community spaces. I noticed that ToonBoom has ...

@jahnocli - thanks for the generous offer. :) I am working in Flash but if you ever feel the urge to sketch any concepts I'm always happy to look at them. A few things I need to work out are the shoulder areas - I don't want to draw myself into a corner so it is hard to animate. I like the 'deltoid ...

@The400th Yes, big headless guy - Neckman. Little guy, Lilyputian. :) @jahnocli - Wish I had your skills, your characters always look so smooth. Still trying to get better at drawing directly with the Wacom. Unfortunately I can't get the pressure sensitivity to work on my PC so I basically get one s...

Neckman
When I first started school and needed to do the traditional man lifting heavy object and the jump animation I came up with a simple character called Neckman. I decided to revist him and am using him for one of my required shorts this semester. Here is a concept for the Lilyputians. I want them to b...

Importing anme files into Flash ...
Hi. Let me try to verbalize this .... I was experimenting with bringing particle effects from AS into Flash but it works badly oftentimes -seems like too may symbols are generated and bogs down the system. I was wondering if instead of worrying about trying to get someone here to perfect Flash expor...

Well, I see one interest you might have in the contest: hope to learn something from what others have created. I guess that's why you want the original AS or Moho files, so people can study them. Yep. I think I mentioned it but I use to own a very popular Visual Basic programming site and I use to ...

It is your choice of one of the character packs. Please remember that this is not an official e-frontier contest. I also have no vested interest in the contest. Just had been a while since we had one and I thought it might be fun if I could round up a prize. Ryan was kind enough to offer one. If the...

Bones can be applied to vector layers used as particles - if that helps.

I'm eager myself. Going to try to sneak some time away from work, internships and everything else Sunday night. :) I think there is some hidden potential with this, perhaps to fake some global lighting and shadows. I also have a half baked idea it may be suitable for faking some reflections and some...

HSV Scriptable?
Not sure if I asked this before, don't remember the answer if I did. Can anyt scripting guru tell me if the HSV modifier feature can be accessed through scripting? For example can you use script to animate the HSV image? Right now it is static only.
