A Question of Balance

No bones were injured in the making of this animation, as none were used.

Re: Moho won’t work properly on Big Sur.

I just wish we could receive some sort of assurance that the Big Sur/Moho 13 issue will be resolved soon. Otherwise, going forward, shopping for a different animation program seems to be the only option.

Artist Standard Time

I have been away from Moho for about 5 years and am having to relearn everything. This short animation is sort of barebones, but I wanted to keep it simple.

Re: Trapped

Might want to try different audio recording techniques to eliminate some of the echo.
Yes, I agree. I need to find someone who is knowledgeable about making audio recordings. I used a decent mic (I think) and did the recommended tweaking in Audacity. It might be the room that needs help.

Re: Wine and Moonlight

About the dialog... do you mind elaborating this conversation? I can see how it could be confusing and frustrating to try to make sense of this when their entire conversation is thoroughly absurd. Both people in this scene are speaking complete nonsense. She is being romantic and poetic but her poe...

Wine and Moonlight

This is my second and most recent ASP project. Still no walk cycle here but really, don’t people spend more time sitting than walking?

Your comments on this animation will be helpful.

Re: "The Neighbour" - new animation over Kafka story

A nightmarish, oppressive, ominous feel to it. Even Kafkaesque, you might say. I enjoyed it a lot.

Re: Waiting for Godog

"First animation using ASP..." but obviously not your first animation. Good work. More than ten years ago I played around with Flash a little. This was before Youtube, so I put the SWF files on my website. The few animations I made with it are here: http://roseofcorn.com/pages/animation/a...

Waiting for Godog

This is my first animation using ASP. There isn't a lot of action in it because I am still learning how to use the tools. This is essentially Richard Nixon's "Checkers Speech" in a "Waiting for Godot" setting. If you are unfamiliar with either of those, you might want to google t...

Re: How do you know what binding method was used?

Thanks for replying, synthsin75. I appreciate your taking the time to give me your thoughtful comments. I do understand the issues better now, but I still have a lot to learn. Overall, the bone-binding processes seem cumbersome and confusing to me, but I'll eventually make sense of it.

How do you know what binding method was used?

I am new to Anime Studio and, like many, have been struggling to learn the concepts, especially bone binding. Tutorials, manuals, and videos give incomplete and sometimes conflicting information. I think it might be helpful if I could see how the pros do it by analyzing and deconstructing the rigged...
