Thanks, that confirms for me the most efficient workflow for my own animations. By the way...then do you think I should increase the length of the animation? In other words to add the anticipation and thinking of the character? I'd let the action determine the length of animation. Traditional animat...

That's very nice work, Selgin. How long did it take to do this example? Did you do this straight ahead or pose-to-pose?

I wonder how you did this so fast.

A few hold frames on key poses might help the talking girl not look so wobbly. The other girl is spot on though; I love that expression she makes.

Awesome. I love how you can make animations that don't look like they were made in Anime Studio.

I hesitate bumping this thread, but I had forgotten that his particular topic has been going on for a while. Frankly, I wouldn't have posted as it added nothing new to the discussion. But here are the links if anyone to wants to get up to speed: Why don't very skilled anime pro users make a feature ...

I read his script before he took it down. It was marginally better than his first attempt, but his biggest challenge is that he's green and needs to learn the fundamentals (basic English composition and grammar). That said, my friends and I were like that too at his age. Once we collaborated on a co...

Demo works fine on my windows xp. Very unique and cool application. I noticed that you can indeed add your own wav files to the list. Was this your intention? Seems to me that people are going to record their own "word tokens" rather than buy a voice pack. On the other hand, the voice pack...

Well, if you've been busy lately, you're just out of the "groove". Spend a little time everyday with a sketchbook while you're doing something else, like watching tv or listening to music. Eventually, the characters will speak to you and tell you what they want to do. That sounds more myst...

Well, at least you warned us. The punchline is a winner, though.

Will take this to heart. BTW, I really found your head turn vids incredibly helpful. Brilliant. :D

I have a total of 8 sides with 3 that are flipped, the profile view, back profile, facing profile are flipped so that makes 3 + facing and back for a total of 5. Thanks for explanation...sounds pretty simple actually. Of course the problem with flipping is that you can't interpolate the points. It ...

It's pretty good...music, voice acting, and characters design in particularly. I'd suggest adding more cues in the background, whether it's a basement, hell, or Bradley's fevered imagination. Also, shorten the intro and consider putting the credits at the end. Thirty-three seconds is way too long to...
