I didn't even know this existed which might explain the silence
I think it'll make the most sense once the next version is out and the LM guys are pushing it again. They should probably open one and name a few of the community members co-admins. That's at least how most companies do it.
The logo looks really good! I have high hopes that this guy they will actually market this software towards professional users and not focus so much on hobbyists like Smith Micro did... well they never really knew what to do with the software in the first place but we all know the story :) Short sid...
Omg, just when i thought it was over!!! Best news of this otherwise tough year! Thanks so much for holding onto your vision and can‘t wait to see what the future holds for Moho!
Hi Guys! First of all, not trying to start any sort of flamewar or controversy here. I've just finished my latest project for a client using Toon Boom, which made sense, since it was more FBF based. Also did another Moho short this year. Unfortunately, 13 crashed on me a lot and i had to execute it ...
This is in no way meant to put down the new development team or any development team in the past, i'm sure they're doing their best and that there are many exciting updates in the works. That being said, MoHo is in the hands of a company that is just not a good fit. Interestingly, Moho got into Smit...
IMO Smith Micro is just the totally wrong company for Moho. I mean just by looking at their website you can hardly find anything about the software. The graphics stuff was a byproduct of buying out efrontier whom they were more interested because of some utility or networking stuff they had. At thei...
We never heard anything about a 12.5 right? Quiet concerning. Firing the dev team and especially Mike was the biggest mistake they could've done what a shame. Moho was on such a great roll! Being picked up by some well known studios, getting faster and better updates and so on. But i agree with the ...
I would be totally up for it, although probably not on a subscription based model like a patreon. If there's a lot of content i'm willing to pay 70 $ for it.
Udemy is also pretty popular for tutorial series and i've seen a lot of people using Gumroad as well for it.
I think maybe i should state my reasons to ask about Updates (not Upgrades mind you) sometimes, since i seem to have gotten some people here agitated (which was of course not my intention). I think maybe the "problem" is, that we were pretty spoiled with MoHo Updates and Bugfixes with the ...
Guess you're right but i really like working with MoHo I actually held a talk recently about animation in communication and marketing and recommended the software to a room full of people who were all quite impressed by it
I've got a pretty big commercial coming up which i have to finish until the end of December. I'm contemplating if i even should still use MoHo or go with another software entirely... I'm so sad about the lack of Updates recently and that it has slowed down so much... Any News in this regard?
