Re: Matrix Text Effect

Wow, I haven't been on this forum for quite some time, but luckily my email still sends me notifications. Sure brings back memories. Anyways, I do have an old attempt that I gave at the matrix text effect, so I can provide that (rendering took forever though): http://www.mediafire.com/download/s7d7b...

This doesn't really concern this topic in general, but for that "naruto shippuden" image, you can see that the actual anime version is blurred (in ASP just raise the blur radius of the vector or image layer by something around 5).

They do now work like Flash, Toomboom or any other drawing program. Yeah, that's one of the shames. I'd prefer that drawing style when it comes to certain types of animation. you can animate on twos, threes, or the next key frame. I've done that before, as well as layer ordering, to make 3D head tu...

Yes, I know of this option :D . My only problem with normal 3D is the outlining of the objects, and with your decision to go about ways, it sounds...complicated to rig, as well as it doesn't give a fairly well reference image. Technically, I've seen in the tutorials, how one could simple rig seperat...

3D for 2D proportion

I've seen this trick before. Using a basic 3D animation, you can make the reference for any anime, thus you can simply make a frame by frame animation (in ASP the vertex drawing option makes the animation look more smooth). Here's the link WARNING: VIDEO MIGHT BE DISTURBING TO SOME: http://www.youtu...

Drawing like Flash brush tool?

Me again :D. I was experimenting several times with ASP5.5 (gonna update to 6 eventually), and I finally gave up on trying to figure it out myself. Can ASP5 or 6 draw the outlines like the flash brush tool? (I really wouldn't know how else to phrase my question, mainly due to my lack of animation vo...

Thanks slowtiger, I configured those settings back to their originals and they worked. As for my tablet I actually use a Hanvon tablet :P. I am going to get another one in due time, but so far the Hanvon tablet I have seems to work great. Anyways, I'm going to play with the maximum and minimum width...

Ugh! I hate taking a long time answer. Ok, slowtiger, I use a tablet and a mouse (mainly because I find Anime Studio 5 Pro's ability at drawing without using the line tool a bit dissapointing... That or I don't know the full capabilities of it). Is there a way to use the ASP5, or 6, pencil tool some...

SpaceBoy64, I figured as much. I also figured through the extremely popular animation program, (to which is a leading animation program in Japanese Anime), Retas, that it is easily used in frame by frame by frame animations, though it cery-tainly takes a while longer. Sorry for the late post, I was ...

Sketchy looking Lines?

It's certainly been a while, (I've been practicing quite a fair amount on complete 360 head turns and body turns, head turns I'm... mediocre at, while body turns I completely suck at.) For some time, I've been wondering how to make that sketchy looking type of line: http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/33...

The eyedropper tool so you can pick a color and/or a style that you didn't register. Dividing tool so that you can split a shape in half depending on the line you draw to divide it (and it works in the timeline). Improved onion skins such as pivot or flash, so that you just take the layers being vie...

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I just woke up... I guess I'm not an early bird :P . Anyways, good idea slowtiger! I never thought of using a model to keep track of the head turn. I'm gonna try putting that idea of yours to work. I'm just gonna do several more head turns, and then when I got the hand o...

Very interesting that you mention masking, but that doesn't sound like the style for me. Thanks for telling me of a good solution, but I think selgin's solution works better for animations that have many features to them, such as if you ever look at that post for that solid snake 1/4th head turn. Pe...

Ok, I've finished 1/4th of the head turn. I think I did most of the animation right, but when it came to the hair, it got hard! Here's the URL if anyone wants to point out something I did wrong (there's two, one for 60 fps, and one for 24) 24 fps: http://www.mediafire.com/?zdm3zuytay2 60 fps: http:/...
