Onionskin colour
Is there any way to get the onion skin feature to have different colours for frames before the current frame and after. I find the onion skin confusing with complex shapes and trying to place something in it's correct location when one doesn't quite know which is a before and after frame. Flash has ...

I suppose the lower left would be the most conventional method of pushing the background away however I quite like the lower Right version as well, It certainly has the most definition between the fore and background elements. It does give the impression of a night cruise to the island and maybe a l...

In a fit of creative thought I applied some textures to a test figure. Wow this looks pretty good and opens up so many possibilities... http://www.shoalhaven.net.au/~bunyanfilms/stronghold/medieval_chap02.jpg but alas I forgot that the images do not stick to the objects..... Who can't wait for this ...

Mike I actually like the first one the best as I believe the shapes integrate better. I didn't like the scalloped background foliage in the later ones as it introduced a rather different shape from the characters. I really like the little rounded hills as they echoed the characters giving them the s...

Myles I was using the manipulate bones tool or the bone resize tool when required. I think the main problems were occurring when I would set a key frame then try and position the character into a new key frame position. This would be set then I would find that the original key frame was getting adju...

Is it just me or am I missing something. Every time I'm trying to animate characters walking around I get big drifts between key frames. The way I've been working is to get a major pose correct first, early in the sequence so I can build the action from it. However as soon as I get things moving I f...

Changing layer levels
Hi I have recently installed the 5.5 AS to take advantage of the ability to move layers above or below each other during the animation... but how is this done. When I move a layer no key frame is created and I can't find a timeline function to indicate a key frame. Any help would be much appr...

Great work
I enjoyed your Star Wars animation very much. I found it funny and the timing was great. Perhaps just try varying the hands a little. Rather than all the fingers in a single group try a little variation between the fingers. It just seemed to draw my eye to them too much.
