sbtamu-I think it all comes down to this: Good voicework wont make a bad script a funny. A good script with bad voicework won't be funny and great animation won't make a script funny. But a funny script with good voicework will be funny no matter how bad the animation is. I too, have a mountain of s...

Thanks for the critique Paul, if you watch some of my earlier stuff my facial movement was way all over the place, I'm still trying to find the happy medium. I contemplated adding more features but cut and ran due to time restraints. Tony- I thought the voicework was really good; the story:not so mu...

been a while

it's been a while since i posted anything...so... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlABV5riqyI I animated this by request for a "youtube producer" last summer. Needless to say that's the last time I produce anything for free (I was sent a prerecorded audio track, everything else was all me) ...

When I had entered text into the audio layer I had left spaces between each line. Apparently AS does not care for that.

(fix was pm'd)

Again, thank you for the help-

Because of issues in the past I already practice this habit. Both of my back up files suffer the same problem. I tried opening it in notepad and looked at the line that was giving me grief but have no idea what needs to be changed-

But it is valid advice Selgin-

unable to open file

The file I spent the last 2 days working on will not open. This was one of the first full files I've created in as7, I'm thinking the text I entered into one of the audio files (for a mouth switch) has caused this issue. I've tried importing each individual sound file into other AS projects to try t...

Thanks- I liked the first half of the made for TV version of IT (when they were all kids) The second half (when they were adults) was not good at all- Apparently it's being re-made, maybe they'll learn from the first versions mistake- I think I've worked through my bobblehead issues with this one (n...

Penny Wise the dancing Clown

Just finished this one, more of a practice in constraint to not bobble heads-

No actual dancing but it is a re-envisioning of the sewer scene from Stephen Kings movie "it", so expect some harsh language-

Thanks Neeters, drawing female faces has always been a thorn for me, they just never looked right, I'm pretty happy with how these two turned out, almost passable as attractive-

new stuff

Kinda went back and fourth with this one, an entry for the "how it should have ended" contest. Finally came down to the last week and I found myself (again) scrambling to get it done and up-

I'll throw in my 2 cents here: I wonder if its necessary to have more than side, 3/4 and front views for face. I mean are you really going to need a 3.5/4 view? I think just having 3 views in switch layers is more than adequate. 3.5/4, not really necessary but down and up position do add to the mix...

Very Cool Neeter, it's a pretty simple concept once you see it, but writing it out it always ends up being wordy- The screen shot really explains it simpler- I've contemplated using more than the "rest"position for the transition layer but it would seriously make the file overloaded, but i...
