If you create particle layer and it displays 5, sometimes it only shows 4. I'm sure it's because one of the particles is hiding behind another. This might not be much to fuss about but when you're creating grass, you have to have 9000 particles just to make it look like 500 or so.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or maybe just a feature request. A particle spacing feature (with distance value input option) would be nice. And the "Evenly Space" option doesn't seem to help this.
