Undoing soft edge?

Okay, here's what happened. I gave a shape a soft edge with a blur radius of 10 or so; then I decided that was a bit much so I tried to lower the blur radius.

But I just can't get it to change; no matter how many times I fiddle with the radius or even try and set the line effect back to "plain", every time I click "render" the shape's just as blurry as before.

I think there might be something wrong with how I'm selecting the shape - but I've used both "select shape" and "select points" and neither seems to get the right result. Can anyone help?

Hmm. Try make the shape again, but on FRAME 0.

Or delete the shape, then make it again.

Maybe you put the blur radius to the outline and now you are correcting the shape?
Maybe you modified the layer shadow also? Checkout all the keyframes for all the channels.
