I created a character and I animated a walk cycle with him. Having done that I decided that he'd look better with a couple dynamic bones on him to control some fur and make it wag as he walks so I created a bone to control the image (I'm using images for him rather than vector) and added two dynamic bones off of it to control the fur.
The trouble I'm running into is that even though the new bones translate correctly along with the rest of the skeleton, the dynamic bones do not react at all. Sporadically they'll react while I'm scrubbing on the timeline but never in a render.
Is there a trick to adding bones to a skeleton after it's been used in an animation? I even redid the animation and they still don't function.
