How to apply "bend layer" with image layer while following path?

I saw that "bend layer" can be applied to image layer while following path from the Kukulkan sample on this tutorial:

But I failed when trying it, and it only worked with vector layer. I also tried and failed applying it on switch layer with images child as it looked like in Kukulkan.
How to apply "bend layer" with image layer while following path?
I'm working with Moho Pro 14.1.
