5 hour to render 5 minutes why

Well the view port is faster than ever before and its very good and also the timeline is faster and you can easly remove and copy and past a bunch of key frames and undo and redo it easily but when it gets to render its very slow and its slower than 3d software render but this is 2d so i wonder why this is 2d and its very slow
