My first Short -looking for help with sound

Post by Atum »

This is my first short animation. About 4 minutes. It has almost no sound, cause i'm not pasionate about sound work. I was hoping someone could help me put some sounds on it. Your name would be on the credits of course.

I think Atum means selecting proper sound effects and creating music. Sorry, can't help you with that directly.

Perhaps you can ask someone from The Freesound Project to help you. On the forum there are some very experienced sound engineers. And their sounds are Creative Commons licenced, which, in this case, means you can use the sounds commercially and non-commercially, but not in advertisements, as long as you attribute the sounds to the CC licence holder.

Style and artwork are just beautiful –
I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere – marvellous.

I presume “young” and “old” will altogether
enjoy the excellent storyline.

Of course with some nice soundtrack or voiceover
this will become a little “masterpiece”.

Cheers

Excellent!

What method did you use for the lighting?

Kingace, are you talking about the light that shines on the caracther?

First i made a square with a hole in the midle, painted it black, reduced alfa, and finaly I made the carachter a visible Mask. This way i could animate is shading and it would never leave is body.

Did this anwser your question?

Atum- I love this cartoon. It's delightful, but some sound would make it even more wonderful.

I can help you with that and would like to do so.

PM me if you still want help.

Wow, so this is what Moho can do in the hands of a dedicated artist! So many things to consider when animating, don't blame you for wanting someone for the music etc. Good Luck
You'll know when you get there! My Dad
