If i try to import a PSD file into moho I get a grey box with a red question mark instead.
Here's exactly what I'm doing:

I can export layers as separate pngs, and that works, but is inconvenient (all heirarchy is gone, and unnecessarily large files or the chore of repositioning all layers again in moho).

Anyone experienced something similar? tips?

I'm on a mac.
Moho pro 12.4
macOS 10.13.1
Photoshop CC 2018

what colour profile / mode are you using in PS? that box shows up if you try to import, amongst other things, a greyscale image.
