.obj import no textures( X in cube icon)

When I import an .obj file that has a texture applied why does it come into Anime Studio Pro Ver.11.2.1 without a texture and why is there an X on the cube icon in the layers list? Thanks

Imported .obj files need a .mtl file in the same location.
