Library: alphabetical order

Hi all,
We're using the custom content folder in our production and it's not functioning as well as it could. Maybe we missed something, but here's couple of things slowing us down.
When you bring something to the library, it always creates a folder. It would be nice to have an option, because almost always, we don't have a need to create an automatic folder.
If there is no folder created, we could directly see all thumbnails for visual guiding.
Like here, where we fixed the foldering in finder.
Also for some peculiar reason, AS library doesn't sort the folders in alphabetical order. Like in the first screenshot, you see the folders are all mixed with no logical order.
Any tips to make these things work better? Or would this be a feature fix/request?
