Note: If this is too much read, you can watch the embedded video below.
Hi guys, my name is Chad Troftgruben. I was the author behind the new batch of official Anime Studio tutorials that were released along with version 9. Among these videos was an Overview Tutorial, which acted as a promo of sorts for the product. The video didn't do a good job of showcasing Anime Studio as the great package we all see it as, and that is why we need your help to create something much more awesome.
I have partnered with Jim Mills and Smith Micro to create a brand new promo video that showcases the best of Anime Studio. We are looking for talented individuals to submit short clips of their best Anime Studio work for us to showcase in this upcoming promo video. The video will be uploaded to Smith Micro's AS YouTube channel, which gets a good amount of traffic. Best of all, if your video is selected, you will get full credit plus a link back to your own YouTube channel, website or Lost Marble profile. More exposure is always better, right?
We are targeting the three major types of animation: anime, traditional and other (descriptive I know, basically experimental or something that doesn't fit into the other two categories). The goal here is to show that while Anime Studio can do anime style animation, you can really choose any style you wish. So we're looking for strong candidates in all forms. The more diverse, the better.
If you’re interested, here’s what we need you to do:
First, go to http://IncredibleTutorials.com/as9promo and fill out the form. This is so we can organize the information and make sure all videos are accounted for.
Once I have your project details, I will contact you and we’ll set up a way for you to transfer your files. We want the videos to be as high of quality as possible, so we may have to transfer the files through FTP if email or Dropbox do not work.
Find the cartoon you feel best represents your work and cut out two or three, five to ten second clips you feel are truly great. You can upload clips from more than one cartoon if you wish.
Upload those clips with the details I have given you, and that’s it! Your cartoon will be entered into consideration to be showcased in the Anime Studio 9 Promo.
If you have any questions, feel free to post them here. Jim and I will be able to answer any questions you have.
