Hi,

I did use Lightworks Beta some while ago.
Editing was really smooth, once you get a grip of proper workflow.
Back then they had some youtube tutorial videos, guess 10 of them.

From those you could get the basics, so learning curve is not too deep.
Reason why I stopped using it, was lack of quicktime export.
Also export quality on Avi´s wasnt too good. Mainly my reel pieces were done on flash, so lots of those smooth edges. ;)

Now they have option to pay little and then you get quicktime export plus some other features.
Really cheap for this level of software!

It is much different than Adobe Premiere for example, but that doesnt make it any weaker.

Hi
Karhu
thanks for the response
Main plus of lightworks is free. Hugo movie editing was done by this soft...they says. It has two versions lite and pro. May be pro version is used for
Hugo editing. Its simple interface is an advantage for a beginner. how ever as experienced user. we expect more details from you
