was cruizing the cgtalk forums* and saw this:::::::::
From what I heard about the next Flash, it will be much more Animator Friendly, and a possible that they will add powerfull Brushes/Pencil and Paint tools (as NOOB! already mentioned) also I'm not sure but it seems that they will have an Inverse Kinematics options (like in 3D or if you know MOHO in 2D) ...
anybody else heard rumors about flash 8??? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Not from what I've heard. Its code named 8-ball. The only rumors I've heard were on additonal filtering and masking options. But could be much more. We'll just have to wait and see.

What's really exciting? Pixel by pixel control of bitmaps. Yeah, I know that doesn't sound like loads of fun, but imagine porting PhotoShop filters into real-time Flash effects! Imagine being able to control bitmaps and creating dynamic effects that were only possible before in Java and Director. Controlling bitmaps the way they are planning in 8 Ball could really revolutionize the way Flash movies look. They're not just vectors. They're not just Flash Video, but they could be truly dynamic bitmaps in the way that we have become used to in terms of PhotoShop, Director and AfterEffects.

Yeah, there were a bunch of rumors floating around the net earlier this year. Mostly including blending modes, filters, multiple libraries, and stuff for mobile phones. With the exception of the mobile phone stuff, nothing I wouldn't use After Effects for anyway. But then again I'm not much interested in web animation.

Then when Adobe purchased Macromedia the rumors dried up. I imagine you won't hear anything new until the reorganization is complete.
