Anime Studio 7.1 with Lion - Serial Number Problem

Post by Lebostein »

Hi,

after installing Anime Studio 7.1 on Mac OS X Lion the program don't accept my serial number! Only an administrator should activate the software. What problem is this an how I can solve this?

Aren’t you the “Administrator” of your computer...?
If you don’t have “administrative rights”, you have to ask someone who has...

Open the computers System Preferences / Users & Groups...
Have a look who is the Admin of that machine...

Select the Anime Studio.app in the Application Folder / Get Info (or hit command+I)...
Check Sharing & Permissions / You have to have Read & Write Permission...

Yes! If I log in as root user (very complicated procedure on Mac, see link) then I can input the serial number without problems! Very strange... with Snow Leopard I did not have this problem.

This is not an unusual problem, it happens with several programs. As long as it can be solved with log in as root/admin, it's just a nuisance.
