AS loses track of images

Post by DK »

Hi.
I've been working on a series done in a cut out style using photographic images and everythings been fine till now. I just opened AS5.6 and all the images I used are missing from the file (links broken).

Anyone know a quick way of relinking them other than going into each image layer and searching for the link?

Would putting the file and ALL images into the same directory work?

Thanks

I decided to clean up my PC the other day and condensed like files into folders. I must of moved hundreds of files not even thinking what it was going to do to my AS projects.

So I am pretty much in the same boat as you DK and so far I have not found any way to relink them other than going to each image layer and manually doing it.

Using Anime Studio Pro 7.1 / OSX 10.6.6

Try this:
Create a new folder...
Drag your project-file and all the associated images into that new folder...
Double click the project file... all images should be visible again...

OMG!!!! How can this happen! They were fine the other day. It's like AS has just decided to randomly drop all the image links?
