***Update***
I uploaded a new version of the program.
If you already installed the original version, you don't need to run the setup again. Download the program here:

This version uses the scrollbar (I didn't like the arrow buttons anyway), and loads all thumbnails at once, which doesn't take too much time, after all. By the way, Visual basic doesn't allow to use the MouseWheel with the scrollbar. Sorry...

Oh I see. It updates the display, not the thumbnails.

Mmm, what if you didn't use a scroll bar, but allowed the mouse wheel to operate the the scoll buttons? That way it would still only load the nine at a time, but have wheel functionality. :)

And/or be able to resize the thumbnails to fit more on the screen at once.

Or just tell me to bug off.

Is there any way that the thumbnails this creates could be stored in a separate folder?

Just ignore the message and continue the installation.

1. Added two new buttons: Re-calculate Duration and Refresh Thumbnails

2. Added Utilities menu item, with the same functions as the buttons, plus a link to Anime Studio Forum.

If you already installed the original version, you don't need to run the setup again. Download the program here:

Great update. Thanks so much for adding the scroll bar! Can we expect mouse wheel control in the future, or is that bit complicated?

Selgin, what I did was just renamed the original .exe before adding the new one. I don't know if that makes any difference.

I uploaded the files again. Make sure you are replacing the original .exe file in the directory where it was originally installed, or just download the setup and install it again. Also, press the "Refresh" button of your browser before downloading, just in case...

synthsin75:

Sorry for that. It's just that Visual Basic does not support the mouse wheel (not even in the Visual Basic editor!!! :( ). I will try to find a solution for this. Meanwhile, try pressing the up and down arrows on the scroll bar, while maintaining the mouse button down.

I can live without the mouse wheel. The scroll bar is plenty.

I never heard back about maybe storing the thumbnails in a separate (dedicated) folder. All the thumbs clutter up my usual folders. It's not a hugh issue, but let me know if it can be done.

Thanks for the app and being so responsive to suggestions. :)

That will be the next update.

I've learned a lot from this forum. Sharing this application is my little contribution, a way to say "thank you" to everyone. I wish I could make a Mac and a Linux version, but it is not possible right now. I hope to make them in a near future.

***Update***
I uploaded a new version of the program (yes, again)
This version organizes the thumbnails in a subfolder called 'Thumbs'. This subfolder is created automatically, and all existing thumbnails outside it (if any) are moved to it. I also added a new mneu option: File-->New to create a new Anime Studio file.

If you already installed the original version, you don't need to run the setup again. Download the program here:
http://www.elprofe.com/Software/SceneSe ... lector.zip

and install it in: C:\Program Files\Anime Studio Scene Selector or wherever you installed the program.

If haven't installed it, use the following link and run Setup.exe:
http://www.elprofe.com/Software/SceneSe ... rSetup.zip

The first time you access a project directory you won't see any thumbnails. Press the 'Create Missing thumbnails' buttons to create them.

Done.
