In version 7, I've noticed when you highlight a vector layer (that is nested in a GROUP) and toggle the layer visiblity icon (the 'eyes' icon) the layer does not switch on and off as in version 6.
If you highlight the GROUP layer and toggle the visibilty icon of the same VECTOR layer it switches on and off correctly.
It's odd that this function has been changed since version 6 and it confuses me when I have several layers and I'm using the toggle visiblity icon to find a specific vector layer in a group.
Is this a bug?

Yes, it's a bug.
I just tested and the layer stills visible.
Too many bugs... I think Smith Micro have to haste to fix it!

yes, it's an absolute joke that this version was ever released!
Why wasn't there any beta testing?
I appreciate that minor things always slip through the net on a first version, but I only learn AS three months ago and within minutes of playing with the trial version I found two screamingly obvious bugs.

It doesn't make sense that old established features aren't working anymore?

Wait until next Tuesday, SM will release a patch.
I hope...

I too am shocked by the number of bugs and problems I've discovered in only a day of playing with the new version. The switch layer interpolation problem is also a huge problem. I'm tempted to get a refund and maybe update sometime later when (or possibly if) they get these problems sorted.

Why Tuesday? I cancelled my trial 30 day offer this week. I stated that due to the interpolation bug I couldn't use the software for professional work. I wasn't given any response from SmithMicro when or indeed if they intend to sort these major bugs out.
Did SmithMicro tell you a patch was being release on Tuesday?
