Goodbye cruel world

Post by madrobot »

Welcome back GCharb!!

After quitting the forum in protest over AS7, he's back...
...after 3 days

This is not long enough to change anything, let alone have AS re-written. In disgust, I am forthwith quitting the forum for the next 45 minutes.

Nothing will make me post again within that period of time. Not Chuck's creepy PMs about rubber undies, not wierd anti-Australian animators racist forum stalker from South America, not AS7.5. NOTHING

(It takes that long to drive home from work.)

Just checking back to see if anyone noticed my absence...
I'm out of here. For real.

But I'll be checking the forum at 4 minute intervals.

I plan to fake my death then attend my own funeral in disguise as an old Amish farmer...

... no wait....

I will fake an illness and pretend to be a DOCTOR as people visit me in the hospital... THEN I will fake my death...

... no wait...

... First I will attend my high school reunion in disguise as a caterer... then I will fake FOOD POISONING... end up in the hospital where I fake my death...

... All in protest of the OIL SPILL IN THE GULF!

----------------------

Seriously though. How can we HONESTLY talk about Gcharb if we don't know for sure he is NOT reading what we write about him? Takes all the fun out of it.

-------------

True Story!

I worked at an ad agency for like 12 years. I got a new job and quit.

When you leave after a long time all the employees create a page in a big scrapbook that represents how they feel about you and all the memories they have of you working there. The scrapbook is presented to you at a big party in your honor. Very creative stuff. I made at least a half dozen of those pages for other people over the years. Having one of those scrapbooks was a huge honor. A big incentive to work there a long time and then quit. I think you had to have at least 10 years to qualify for a scrapbook.

I was the ONLY person in the company history who got a scrapbook AND still worked there (I got my old job back about 6 months later). Many people said I had to give my scrapbook back.

A few years later I got fired. I didn't get another scrapbook. Wasn't enough time I guess.

:)

I am trying to make a grand gesture here, and you guys are making me vomit with impotent rage.

I do not appreciate jibes like "maddog the stinky flatulent beer-titted Australian" or "GChoad"

Earlier I was asleep for about 6 hours... Did anyone notice?

-----------

I was gone from the forum for a very long time... I wasn't even READING it at all.... but I forgot to post a "farewell" speech. Is it too late to make up some reason for my absence? I didn't actually have anything at the time to protest about.

Easy tiger. You might hurt someone's feelings.

I for one want to apologise if I took things a bit too far.
Next time I'll say "beer-teated"

In protest of your protest instead of NOT participating on this forum... I plan to OVER PARTICIPATE! That will teach them. I will overload the servers and crash their system.
