It's very cool getting this heads up about the new version, so thanks very much to Sarina, Mike, and SmithMicro for thinking of us.

However, it was a bit odd that there was no hint about what the upgrade pricing would be. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Hello all!

The new library ressource, animate curves with precision tool, better collaboration tools, animate 2d with 3d, organize all files from one location all sound good to me.

I wonder if online collaboration is possible and if there will be better 3D shading.

Poser support, well, I guess it makes sense since SM sells Poser.

Many of the things I would have liked to see are not in that list, me think it is time to get serious with Lua scripting :)

This should be interesting.

"Make your own 3D objects from vector layers and bring them into your 2D animation projects. Choose from Extrusion, Lathe and Inflate, then select from multiple shading options for your 3D model, including Smooth."

OK, I was wrong! This isn't Epic, this is Revolutionary!

This looks like a pre-release version of Smith-Micro's ASP 7 page:
http://www.trackopens.com/index_pro.html

Sorry, folks looks like it'll be another 130 bucks to upgrade again, but the way I see it, the last 130 bucks paid for this version, which looks to be pretty damn awesome, so this 130 bucks will help pay for ASP 8.
