Stylos question
I can’t seem to find any web sites that sell Stylos. I thought this was a top selling animation program in Japan. Why don’t animation stores sell it in the U.S.A.?
Hi Kori,
There are some sites that sell Retas products in your area
http://www.animationsoftware.com/
http://www.fates.com/fates/index.html
and here is the Retas section of their website
http://www.fates.com/fates/retas.html
this site is also the home of an animation studio. check out their animation. They say they are the official resellers and training centre in the US.
But i am not sure what the US branch of Celsys are planning to do with Retas as here in Japan they have release Retas as one package (Stylos, Paintman, Traceman and Core Retas), rebadging it as RetasStudio and it's much cheaper than buying one module alone!

Just thought I'd chime in here and say that we do have a Studio Bundle available for the USA (and everywhere else). You save 220 USD on the package price of the all the RETAS HD products together.
You can visit our RETAS page here: http://fates.com/retas/ as our website has changed a little.
You can watch our team's usage of RETAS on our demo reel page: http://fates.com/reels/
And you can catch more of the individual projects on the main page: http://fates.com/
Hope that helps, sorry for just seeing this post now...
