using fonts for vector shapes

Post by toonertime »

I sometimes use a letter from the text
feature to start a basic shape.
Say you want an O shape, or
L, or whatever. If you can find
it in your alphabet, it is a good
starting point. Dingbats can
give you interesting shapes, too!

Just a tip from an idiot.

This is a really good idea..I've done it in Cheetah 3d as well and it really does work well with dingbats and weird fonts..
