concept art
Hello,
I have been away for quite some time and decided to see what was new in the Moho/Anime Studio world.
So I did a quick sketch (concept art for children's book) and decided to try my hand at moho..er...anime studio, i mean. This is probably the first of many.
I am hoping my skill grows in the next few weeks......Let's see
I do have to say one thing about the software...it's great ONLY if you install Fazek's (sp?) and other member's scripts/tools/buttons etc.
When I first started with moho, drawing or more properly known as, sculpting, was a HUGE pain. With the added scripts/buttons/etc., I am really enjoying the experience.
Kudos to the on going support of these scripts.

I use a vector layer on top of all other layers for that character or background. I put the opacity to 10- 20 (depending on how dark I want the shadow) on the whole layer. I draw the shape of the shadow (no outline). I usually put a blur on the layer also. This helps to blend the shadow into the drawing.question - how do you draw your shadows in there?
There is also a lot of other tricks you can do with shadows/highlights, however, that is the basics.
Peace,
Found M

I have been experimenting with simple animations. Here is an example:
Background was painted in painter x.
